I have the same phone, I can not root it! I have tried almost everything. And now sense upgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4, my computer will not connect to phone, I get a error – “USB device not recognized” I’ve tried different USB ports, different cables, different computers, reinstalled drivers, reinstalled Samsung Kies3.0. I can connect wirelessly and Dropbox works great.
I would love to root it, and get the USB working, any one have any suggestions? I want to remove the corporate branding on my phone i recently purchased a samsung s4 (19505) from a business liquidation auction, it was previously with vodaphone australia and has vodaphone bloatwre and branding throughout i HATE the vodaphone internet homepage which i can’t seem to remove. I am new to this tech but have just rooted it and was considering re-flashing the firmware in the hope this may remove all the vodaphone crap will this do the trick? To make matters worse i have a mac, not PC, and i don’t think odin works with mac? I do have ‘kies’ on my mac any help would be appreciated cheers.
